OpenAI CEO Sam Altman Visits India Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI, visited India on June 8-10, 2023. During his visit, he met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, students at the Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Delhi, and venture capitalists. He also gave a keynote address at the Nasscom Technology and Leadership Forum. In his meetings, Altman discussed the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) to transform India.
